Trench Knife

"British WW1 P1907 Shortened Bayonet Trench Knife"
Just a small project to get me back into posting. Based on a shortened Wilkinson 1907 British bayonet. British soldiers didn't use knives at first as they hadn't developed them, so they had to make their own from what they had... bayonets! This particular knife was likely made officially as it's a little tidier than what you'd expect your average Tommy to make in the trenches. The official manufacturer stamps on the blade and handle are also giveaways.
